Today at college we Photoshopped the pictures of our self's on Photoshop, to make our self' into zombies. we used a lot of tools and reference off the internet to give an idea of what i would like zombie me to look like! we shaped our faces with Liquify which mutilates the face so i can change the structure of my face, I made cheek bones stick out further and my skin sink in a lot more so the outline of my skull was showing more and this created a skinnier effect which was hard at first but soon as you get the hang of just pushing the skin in, it gets easier.
also I changed my skin colour by using CTRL U, which changes the saturation of the picture to create a dull effect, the skin looked more wish washy and in my picture i looked ill, this was helpful since zombies don't look healthy.
The burn tool was extremely helpful because it makes your skin look a lot more sunken in than it already is, it gave me more definition around parts i wanted to stand out, such as the collar bone because when studying other pictures of zombies, all of them had a strong collar bone because they were so malnourished and skinny.
after I used sections of other peoples pictures to create a more zombie looking effect, for example i used a picture for my zombie mouth, I cut off the parts I didn't need with CTRL X and turned down the pictures opacity so i can see where I was placing the picture on my body, after i used the eraser tool around the rest of the parts I didn't want. after I blurred the picture into my real skin so it looks more realistic, and change the colour balance by clicking on CTRL B, so the mouth looks more to my own skin tone than someone elses.
